Colby O to Hit the Stage at the Grammy Awards?

In a recent press release highlighting Key Closet, the clothing brand that is responsible for all of the hot styles that Colby wears, was a statement that said Colby O will be a featured performer at the 2009 Grammy Awards. As all of you know, he is nominated for a Grammy in the category Best Dance Collaboration for his feature on Lady Gaga’s chart topping hit ‘Just Dance’. Here is what was stated in the press release.
Recently, Key Closet dressed Grammy Nominee Pop/R&B sensation, Colby O’Donis (Interscope/Geffen/Konlive) for the American Music Award’s Red Carpet and after-parties. Colby wore the $10K diamond-studded jeans, paired with the $10K hoodie by sister company Konquest, garnering compliments from Jamie Foxx, Akon and T-Pain on the decadence of his ensemble. Colby O’Donis was sumptuously decked out in Key Closet again at the KIIS FM Jingle Ball 2008 on December 7. Key Closet is the brand of choice for the red-hot Colby O’Donis, who has chosen Key Closet to dress him and his back up dancers for the 2009 Grammy Awards, where he will be a featured performer.
Let’s hope to see him on stage! The only confirmed performers for the 2009 Grammy Awards were released yesterday and included Coldplay, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry, Jonas Brothers and Kenny Chesney. The press release also stated that 30% of the proceeds from online sales of Key Closet will go to helping build schools in Uganda. A few moments ago, a press release was sent out highlighting Colby’s Grammy nomination for his feature on “Just Dance”. The press release also contained some information about what the next single from “Colby O” will be.
Up next for Colby are two more singles from his album which includes “Let You Go” and “Natural High” featuring T-Pain.
Colby recently posted a myspace bulletin stating the single choices were between “Let You Go” and “Saved You Money”.

To give a bit of overview, we’ve been fans of Colby O for quite some time now. We are here to help support him in the best way we know possible and that is by connecting the fans together on a global level to get what we need to get done. Yesterday Colby O’Donis was on set with music video director Gil Green (he also directed Colby’s “What You Got”) alongside Akon and Kardinall Offishal to shoot the music video for the song “Beautiful”. This is the next single from Akon’s album “Freedom” which is also in stores now! I’ve added some photographs into the gallery of the guys on set. Colby looks awesome as usual.
Just Dance #1 on Hot 100

In addition to capturing the top spot on iTunes, Lady Gaga’s mega-hit “Just Dance” featuring Colby O’Donis has now captured the #1 position on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart! It moved up one spot from it’s #2 position the previous week. Congratulations to Lady Gaga and Colby for the success!
